Our beautiful fabric shop is nestled beneath the Lake District in Barrow, Cumbria UK.

Come and browse our wide selection of fabrics, thoughtfully selected with the dressmaker in mind. We believe that the in store experience is part of the joy of fabric shopping and welcome browsers - you've got to touch the fabric to truly know if it's right!

We have patterns from over 12 independent designers and have the full New Look and Simplicity ranges in stock. We can even print your A0 pattern files on our large format Canon printer, if you'd like your patterns printed ready to collect, you can upload them using our A0 printing service.

With a wide range of haberdashery from brands such as Gutermann, Prym and Coats, we have everything you need to complete your project, all under one roof.

Whilst you're here, feel free to take your time. Relax, treat yourself to a Pennington's Tea or Coffee from our in house coffee machine and browse the pattern catalogues. Well behaved dogs and spouses are welcome too!
