Waxed cotton is cotton covered in a wax material that is applied to the cloth. Made popular in the 1920s to the mid-1950s, as the product which developed from the sailing industry in England and Scotland. the waxing process is now commonly used for waterproofing.
Waxed cotton is a resilient and natural fabric that looks better with a little wear and tear.

Fabrics are priced by the half metre and cut as one continuous length.
For example if you require 1 metre of fabric, you should add a quantity of 2 half metres to your basket.
